L’histoire de la marque de batteries ASBA est riche et embl\u00e9matique du savoir-faire fran\u00e7ais dans le domaine des percussions.<\/p>\n

Fond\u00e9e en 1927 par Alfred Boudard, l’acronyme ASBA signifie d’ailleurs \u00ab\u00a0Alfred et Simone Boudard Accessoires\u00a0\u00bb. L’entreprise d\u00e9marre en r\u00e9gion parisienne, \u00e0 Limeil-Br\u00e9vannes, en fabriquant initialement des accessoires pour orchestres, notamment des pupitres, des stands pour instruments \u00e0 vent et des sourdines.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s une interruption due \u00e0 la Seconde Guerre mondiale, ASBA red\u00e9marre son activit\u00e9 et \u00e9largit son catalogue en proposant ses premiers instruments de percussion, comme des timbales et des bongos, tr\u00e8s populaires dans les ann\u00e9es 50.<\/p>\n

La premi\u00e8re batterie ASBA, le mod\u00e8le \u00ab\u00a0Be Bop\u00a0\u00bb, est brevet\u00e9e en 1948. La m\u00eame ann\u00e9e voit le jour la caisse claire \u00ab\u00a0R\u00e9v\u00e9lation\u00a0\u00bb, qui conna\u00eetra un grand succ\u00e8s. ASBA collabore \u00e9troitement avec des batteurs fran\u00e7ais renomm\u00e9s de l’\u00e9poque (Armand Molinetti, Christian Garros, Daniel Humair) pour am\u00e9liorer la conception de ses instruments. La p\u00e9dale de grosse caisse \u00ab\u00a0Caroline\u00a0\u00bb, fruit de cette collaboration avec Daniel Humair, sera m\u00eame distribu\u00e9e par Ludwig aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n

En 1956, ASBA installe sa propre fonderie, ce qui lui permet de fabriquer elle-m\u00eame ses coquilles et d’autres petites pi\u00e8ces. La marque devient alors un acteur majeur sur le march\u00e9 fran\u00e7ais, \u00e9quipant de nombreux batteurs de jazz et de vari\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Malheureusement, l’usine ASBA ferme ses portes en 1983, victime d’un contexte \u00e9conomique difficile et d’une concurrence accrue.<\/p>\n

Cependant, la belle histoire d’ASBA ne s’arr\u00eate pas l\u00e0. En 2023, la marque rena\u00eet et relance la production \u00e0 Lyon. ASBA perp\u00e9tue aujourd’hui son savoir-faire \u00ab\u00a0Made in France\u00a0\u00bb, en fabriquant des batteries de haute qualit\u00e9, alliant un look parfois vintage \u00e0 des techniques de fabrication modernes. La marque continue d’innover et de proposer des instruments qui honorent son h\u00e9ritage tout en regardant vers l’avenir.<\/p>\n

ASBA est une marque fran\u00e7aise historique de batteries et de percussions, reconnue pour son savoir-faire artisanal, ses innovations et la qualit\u00e9 de ses instruments. Apr\u00e8s une p\u00e9riode d’arr\u00eat, elle a retrouv\u00e9 une nouvelle vie et continue de faire r\u00e9sonner le \u00ab\u00a0son fran\u00e7ais\u00a0\u00bb dans le monde de la batterie.<\/p>\n
